The Grounds and Facility Maintenance teams work together and side by side to ensure that VWMC looks like it did the day it opened for every single show. The Grounds team is primarily responsible preparing the building before the season begins, the upkeep of the facility's landscaping and general outdoor appearance, various building projects that come up throughout the season, and miscellaneous tasks that may need tending to on event days.

The Maintenance team consists of two shift: the day and night shift. The day shift is responsible for the upkeep and preparation of the inside of the building, cleaning of the pavilion, plazas, restrooms, as well as fine tuning all areas that are visible and that may be utilized by the public.

The night shift of the maintenance department handles many of the same duties that the day shift does, however they work during and after the show to keep the building clean while patrons are enjoying their favorite artist.

Once the show is over, the night shift cleans the facility from top to bottom so that, if necessary, VWMC will be ready to be used the next day! Prerequisites to work in this department are that you must enjoy being outside, working with others on a daily basis, and have a great work ethic! Good times and Good people have made up this department in the past, and we hope to continue that fine tradition!

Maintenance starting pay rate is as follows:
Day Shift: $7.25 per hour Night Shift: $7.50 per hour
