Providing patons with the items necessary to make their concert experience even more memorable, the Merchandise Department at Verizon Wireless Music Center can be broken into three different areas of responsibility: Roses, Merchandise (lawn chairs, blankets, binoculars, etc.), and Upgrades. |
Of course, we expect all Merchandise employees to know "THE RIGHT ANSWER" and help patrons and fellow employees whenever needed. All employees that wish to work in the Merchandise must pass a background check since they will be expected to handle money. |
Those applicants that wish to work in the Rose section of the Merchandise department will be placed in strategic locations throughout the plazas selling roses. |
The employees that actually fall under the Merchandise classification are responsible for the lawn chair stations in which we also offer binoculars, blankets, pavilion upgrade tickets. These Merchandise employees aid patrons in distributing lawn chairs and also putting them away in the lawn chair stations after the show with the aid of employees from other departments. |
Employees that handle our Pavilion Upgrades are responsible for exchanging patrons' lawn tickets for pavilion tickets at a small price. These employees are placed in front of the front gates, at the north and south entrances to the lawn, as well as other strategic places. |
The Merchandise department is a small, tightly knit department that works together to help increase the venue's revenue while having a great time and earning some extra summer cash!
Starting pay rate for Merchandise: $7.25 per hour
