Box Office employees have a number of responsibilities throughout the duration of their shifts. The first of which is smiling! In some situations, the Box Office staff will be the first employee that a patron interacts with at the venue and it is the job of the Box Office staff to make each and every customer feels welcome, as if they were treated well, and as quickly as possible while still providing great customer service. |

These employees are responsible for a bank which they check out at the beginning of their shift and must reconcile before ending that respective shift. In addition to selling tickets (the Box Office's primary responsibility), the Box Office staff will also aid the Box Office Manager and Assistant Manager in fulfilling ticket orders, organizing the ticket will-call window, answering calls regarding ticketing, in addition to a number of other miscellaneous responsibilities. |
Last but not least, since the Box Office interacts with such a high volume of customers, it is important to know the layout of the facility, where things are located (ATM's, vending machines, restrooms), the different promotions that may be going on during a particular event or ticket on-sale, and of course...HAVING FUN! Please remember, all Box Office employees will need to pass a background check before being able to work. |
